Hi, I’m Jessamyn (pronounced Jasmine, I promise), and I’m the owner of Glover Budgets. I’m here to help you move from financial overwhelm to clarity. I believe that your money should support the life you want to live, instead of money controlling your life.

The "Why" Behind My Work

In 2015, I earned my Master’s in Accountancy, and graduated with a mountain of student loan debt (graduate and undergraduate school loans). I followed the “traditional” advice that I had been given. I worked incredibly hard and sacrificed joy; however, despite my best efforts that advice proved obsolete, and I grew very frustrated.

That frustration started my real education. I began a quest to understand money beyond the textbook definitions. I started coaching friends and coworkers on the side, discovering that the most effective systems weren't the ones found in a classroom—they were the ones tailored to a person’s unique reality.

My professional background has taught me how to handle numbers with precision. Over the last decade, I’ve worked as an investment accountant, and currently serve as an auditor. These roles are all about identifying order and building controls.

My true passion is bringing that same level of organization to your personal goals. I pair my academic background in Sociology (My Bachelor’s Degree)—which helps me understand the "why" behind our habits—with my accounting background—which helps me handle the "how" of your money.

I’ve been where you are, and I’ve built a career around creating the systems that bridge the gap between where you are and where you want to be. I am not here to tell you what to do with your life; I am here to partner with you to build a system that honors your hard work.
